LCSW Supervision in Texas: Options & Cost

Supervision Options & Cost

Investing in Your Clinical Future

Clinical supervision is a requirement on the road to LCSW licensure—but I believe it should be much more than that. The time you spend in supervision is an investment in the clinician you are becoming. The Bridge to Clinical Excellence combines clinical supervision, case consultation, professional mentoring, and structured learning to help you develop the confidence and clinical judgment needed for independent practice.

Group Supervision

$65 per supervision hour

Group supervision is the heart of The Bridge experience. Groups are intentionally limited to a maximum of six LMSWs so that everyone has an opportunity to participate, present cases, ask questions, practice clinical skills, and receive meaningful feedback.

Group Schedule

Two 2-hour virtual supervision sessions each month

4 supervision hours per month

Monthly Investment

$260 per month

Your group supervision experience includes:

Live virtual clinical supervision

Small-group learning

Bridge Consultation and case discussion

Structured clinical curriculum

Ethics and professional practice discussions

Assessment and diagnostic skill development

Documentation training

Clinical case conceptualization

Treatment planning

Professional development

ASWB-style practice questions and exam preparation

Bridge worksheets and learning resources

Supervision hour tracking

Access to supervisee resources as they become

available through The Bridge Portal

Maximum group size: 6 supervisees

Individual Supervision

$75 per supervision hour

Some clinicians prefer the privacy and individualized attention of one-on-one supervision.

Individual supervision provides dedicated time to focus on your clinical work, professional development, ethical questions, documentation concerns, career goals, and areas in which you would like additional support.

Individual supervision may also be useful when a situation arises that requires discussion outside of the regular group setting.

Individual Supervision Investment

$75 per 1-hour session

Individual supervision is scheduled based on availability and the supervision arrangement established between the supervisor and supervisee.

Which Option Is Right for Me?

Group Supervision May Be a Good Fit If You:

Enjoy learning from other clinicians

Want exposure to a variety of cases and perspectives

Value discussion and collaboration

Want structured clinical education in addition to supervision

Prefer a lower hourly supervision cost

Want to build professional relationships with other developing clinicians

Individual Supervision May Be a Good Fit If You:

Prefer one-on-one discussion

Have clinical or professional circumstances requiring greater privacy

Want supervision focused exclusively on your cases and professional development

Prefer individualized scheduling when available

Some supervisees may benefit from a combination of group and individual supervision depending on their professional needs.

Your Foundation Session

Before joining your regular Bridge supervision group, new supervisees complete an individual Foundation session (Build 1). This meeting allows us to establish the foundation for our

supervisory relationship before you enter the group.

During your Foundation session, we will review:

Your current employment and clinical responsibilities

Your professional background

Your goals for supervision

The Clinical Supervision Plan

Supervision expectations and responsibilities

Required documentation

Confidentiality and case presentation

Supervision hour tracking

The Bridge curriculum and program structure

Any questions you have before beginning

Think of this as laying the first plank of your Bridge.

Foundation Session: $75

What Is Not Included?

The Bridge supervision fee covers the supervision and program resources described above.

Supervisees are responsible for expenses associated with their own professional licensure, including applicable licensing and application fees, examinations, professional liability insurance, continuing education, and any other costs required by their employer or licensing authority.

A Note About Supervision Hours

Texas currently requires applicants pursuing LCSW licensure to complete at least 3,000 hours of supervised professional clinical experience over a minimum of 24 months, including at least 100 hours of supervisory sessions during the supervised experience. Supervision continues even once the hours are complete until the ASWB exam is passed and you are an LCSW.

The Bridge is structured to support supervisees as they work toward these requirements; however, each supervisee is responsible for understanding and meeting all current Texas licensing requirements.

Licensing regulations can change. Supervisees should always verify current requirements directly with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC).

More Than Supervision Hours

You aren't simply paying someone to sign a supervision form.

You're investing in the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, ask difficult questions, learn from mistakes in a supportive environment, receive consultation on challenging cases, strengthen your professional judgment, and prepare for independent clinical practice.

My goal isn't simply to help you earn the letters LCSW after your name.

My goal is to help you become the kind of clinician those letters should represent.

Ready to Cross the Bridge?

If you're interested in joining The Bridge to Clinical Excellence, the first step is to submit a

supervision inquiry.

We'll talk about your current position, your clinical responsibilities, your goals, and whether The Bridge is the right fit for you.
